Great Ball 3/5/2009
Handicap 20-30
I love this ball. I have used Nike Distance and have even tried Titleist Pro V1's and this ball preforms just as well if not better than the others. It has a nice soft feel to it that I like and has a true flight. The Nike's and Titleist fly off the club in any direction it chooses (I'm not going to go in to detail on my experiences with Top Flight... ugh!). I play the yellow ball and like the fact that it is easy to spot on the fairway, or where every it lands. And for the price? Please! For $1.50 a ball t

Bad roll please 12/13/2006
Handicap 20-30
I used these balls for quite a while as a substitute for Titleist Pro VI. They play exactly the same around the greens including putting. They cut less than the Titleists and like any crystal ball are easier to find. By the way, my original test for roll was at night on a resort green with other balls mixed in as well for comparison and there was NO difference on the green between the Titleist and the Neutron (which is why I started playing with them). And just in case you say but he's a lousy golfer...I would be a much higher handicap without putting. Just because you had one bad round don't blame the ball.

Great Golf Ball 8/14/2006
Handicap 10 - 15
I tried this golf ball (yellow version) only because of the color and found a LONG ball. I'm getting more of the bright yellow ones not only because they fly long and straight but because they also run true on the greens (and I play on very unforgiving greens). The bonus is that I can see them much better than the traditional white ones. These go longer than the XP3s, as well as the host of golf balls I used to play with (Titeist, Precept, Pinnacle and Dimplit)

Please...don't buy this ball! 8/14/2006
Handicap 10 - 15
If your looking for a ball that doesn't perform, this is the ball for you.I bought this ball at my local golf course for 2.50 each and I'll tell ya as soon as i teed it up I hit it in the trees, and when i finally got on the green I three-putted due to it's very untrue roll.Spend your money on good balls like some titleists or srixons but please...not on this piece of crap!

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?
A

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.

Search for a Golfsmith or PGA Tour Superstore in your area. Golfsmith has hitting areas set up near the rear of their shops and the majority of the time no one bothers you at all. The PGA Tour Superstores usually have at least 8 perforance bays that you can try clubs out.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.

Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?
A
05/04/2009 3:09 PMGolfballs.com Employee: Andy
Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy

Golf balls stored in a controlled climate, (not outside in the elements, not stored in a 100 degree temperature,)will lose ONE YARD per year. That means, obviously, if you store your golf balls for ten years they will lose only ten yards of carry. Most of us could never tell the difference until it reaches that ten year mark.
