why are they cheaper than a mens ball if they are better 2/10/2008

I hit a lady ball by accident in sarasota and it went 300yds, I could not call myself a man if I played a womens ball,BUT, why are the balls cheaper then mens balls esp if they travel farther? Sounds like the golf industry is sticken it to the men. :(

Hey, I golfed 18 holes yesterday. I used this ball for the very first time--the temperature was 43 degrees. This ball traveled the farthest of any ball I have played while playing in this weather.Since the summer, I have been playing a Wilson Staff 50/50. At the time I gained 15-20 yards. This ball is the modern day version of the PRECEPT LADY. This ball is sneaky long and will have your playing partners wondering about the source of the additional length. It plays well off the tee and it also plays well around the green. This ball is a great value which I accidentally discovered when I mistakenly hit my wifes ball off the tee. The distance was so astounding that I continued to play the ball.

having been using the Nike Super Lady, I was not satisfied with the Power Lady. Itdid not preform nearly as well. Less distance and spin.
