"Melanie, The custom logo golf balls look really great. We have only passed out a few boxes, but we'll probably be donating lots more to a few upcoming charitable golf outings. We were so pleased with our experience and the pricing at Golfballs.com, I can't imagine we'd go anywhere else in the future. "

Big Bertha - Red 2/19/2009
Handicap 6 - 10
Long and soft off the driver and long irons. Mid irons play very good with minimal roll pending loft. Wedges are very predictable with good green side maners. This ball is soft and will provide the back spin, drop and stop or minimal roll if desired. Putting seems to be fairly predicitable and accurate even at the end of a full round. Good job and don`t change it!

A Good Ball at a Great Price! 1/5/2009
Handicap 10 - 15
This ball is long off of the tee and will drop & stop with a full wedge. Checks up nicely on the green and has a soft feel with the putter. Also plays well in cold weather.

Quite a Bargain 10/8/2008
Handicap 20-30
I really liked the Tour-i balls for their play around the greens. But the callaway Big Bertha has given me an extra 15 yards on my driver, and 5-8 yards on my mid irons. The feel at the greens is very good and if hit properly will stop just like the expensive models. At my level I don't need anything that you can "work" just need to get it in the cup...........

Nothing but great results! 8/22/2008
Handicap 0 - 5
I recently received the Big Bertha logo golf balls at a tournament. I have never played with the big berthas before and I have to say I was impressed with the distance. I just bought 12 dozen of the custom logo golf balls to give away at our next outting.

Best Ball Ever!!!! 7/15/2008
Handicap 10 - 15
I don't understand why some people are saying this ball scuffs easily. I have not experienced that problem. What I have experienced is AMAZING distance! Before this ball my drives were 220-250. Now I easily average 260-280. 300 when I really get a hold of it. And the soft feel has also improved my putting. This ball is a must have! Thanks Callaway!!!

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?
A
05/21/2009 3:21 PMGolfballs.com Employee: Andy
Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.

A golf ball takes between 100 and 1000 years to decompose. If a golf ball is not old and battered through play, it will be fine!!! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/earthnews/6540852/Golf-balls-take-1000-years-to-decompose.html

Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?
A
05/04/2009 3:09 PMGolfballs.com Employee: Andy
Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy

Golf balls stored in a controlled climate, (not outside in the elements, not stored in a 100 degree temperature,)will lose ONE YARD per year. That means, obviously, if you store your golf balls for ten years they will lose only ten yards of carry. Most of us could never tell the difference until it reaches that ten year mark.
