I like it 8/17/2007
Handicap 0 - 5
I played the NXT Tour last year and would say this ball performs similarly. However, I tend to shred the cover of balls with my irons (square grooves!)and would destroy an NXT Tour or ProV1 in a round. The e6 stands up very well so it is a great buy for me.

Straightest Ball Ever 6/11/2007
Handicap 30 +
I've hit the e6 this past weekend, and the HX-Hot the weekend before. Both seemed like they would help me, and I wanted to find a ball to stick w/ and play consistently for awhile. While if my life depended on overall distance, I'd probably pick the HX-Hot (and not by much), the e6 is the best ball I've ever played. It's straight as an arrow, which really helps me. I always make solid contact on my drives, but my slice still makes an appearance every 4-5 drives. Flat out, this ball helped big-time!! Not bad

Consistently Short 6/1/2007
Handicap 10 - 15
Tried two boxes of the e6's and was dissappointed with their distance. At first I thought it was a fluke that the first couple of balls were 10-20 yards shorter than most of the other golf balls I have tried.

Smoking Ball 5/19/2007
Handicap 20-30
I have being playing this ball for about a year and I have to say that is the best ball for my game. I am a short hitter, but with this ball I can hit with my normal swing and get an extra ten yards on my shots. Most important, the ball goes straight even on marginal miss hits. Plus Golfballs.com personalization is awesome!!!!

e6 balls 5/12/2007
Handicap 10 - 15
I started using the e6 ball in December 2005 and would use nothing else. I've been successful in changing a number of my buddies to the e6 ball. In my estimation it's the best and I've used everything from the ProV1 to the Nike ONE. it does everything it's advertised to do.

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.

Search for a Golfsmith or PGA Tour Superstore in your area. Golfsmith has hitting areas set up near the rear of their shops and the majority of the time no one bothers you at all. The PGA Tour Superstores usually have at least 8 perforance bays that you can try clubs out.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.

Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?
A
05/04/2009 3:09 PMGolfballs.com Employee: Andy
Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy

Golf balls stored in a controlled climate, (not outside in the elements, not stored in a 100 degree temperature,)will lose ONE YARD per year. That means, obviously, if you store your golf balls for ten years they will lose only ten yards of carry. Most of us could never tell the difference until it reaches that ten year mark.
