The Best Ball!!!! 3/6/2006
Handicap 10 - 15
Go buy some!!! That pretty much somes it up. I have played with Nike, PRO V1, Maxfli, and the list goes on and on. I am averaging 20 more yards over the Nike, and PRO V1 off the tee, plus they are soft and controlling off the irons unlike the incredably hard PRO V1. Putts excellent too!! Seeing is believing. Go get 'em and try for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Dropped my score 8 strokes on a full 18 hole round!!!I will say...don't play a low compression ball if it's really hot out (over 90) they will do more harm than good. Play a 80-90 compression or higher. But the best ball in cooler, or cold weather!

Try Them 9/28/2005
Handicap 10 - 15
All I can say is just try these balls. For the price give them a shot and than write the review here. As you can see not a negative review in the house. The beauty of this ball is, when you mis-hit off the tee it is not too far left or right. Also, when they hit the green they stop. Putting is pure. Don't take my word for it, I have tried them all. Good Luck.

Hole in One 6/17/2005
Handicap 0 - 5
Monday, June 13, I made a hole-in-one using a Dunop ball, which is my favorite brand. I like all of the different kinds of Dunlop. I'm sure the brand earned the hole in one for me.

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?
A

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.

Search for a Golfsmith or PGA Tour Superstore in your area. Golfsmith has hitting areas set up near the rear of their shops and the majority of the time no one bothers you at all. The PGA Tour Superstores usually have at least 8 perforance bays that you can try clubs out.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.

Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?
A
05/04/2009 3:09 PMGolfballs.com Employee: Andy
Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy

Golf balls stored in a controlled climate, (not outside in the elements, not stored in a 100 degree temperature,)will lose ONE YARD per year. That means, obviously, if you store your golf balls for ten years they will lose only ten yards of carry. Most of us could never tell the difference until it reaches that ten year mark.
