Callaway Golf HX Tour Golf Balls user reviews
I switched from ProV1x 1/23/2008
Handicap 0 - 5
I love this ball. I find it is nearly identical to ProV1x, but perhaps spins better on pitches and chips. I also find it MORE durable oddly enough. I've had cartpath bounces with minimal damage. If price were identical, I may stick with ProV1x, but to save 5 bucks a dozen I'll gladly switch.

What's with the COVER 12/27/2007
Handicap 6 - 10
Now I know why the tour guys have gone to putters with inserts. This ball sounds and almost reacts like a surlyn ball coming off my putter face. Other than that it is not a bad ball. I just think the Pro V1 and Nike Platinum are better. But lets be honest here. When you shoot in the mid 70's on your good days any top line ball is better than your game

Great ball 7/10/2007
Handicap 6 - 10
I have been playing this ball for about 3 months now. I had a Callaway rep give me 2 dozen. I no longer play the Pro V. This is a better ball period!! It goes farther than a Pro V with better feel.

Callaway Golf HX Tour 5/7/2007
Handicap 6 - 10
I personally think this the best ball on the market at this time. It goes very far and has great control. I am a shortgame specialists and I love the way the ball reacts around the greens. I love to putt this ball, it has a very good feel to it. It seems lighter than the Pro V1 to me, and it stops qiicker on faster dry greens with the wedge in hand, which is what I like. I can stop it on a dime.

Hi, thanks for the question. Overruns are new golf balls with a logo or personalization printed on them already. They are not sold in original packaging, and not all will have a logo on them. -Parker

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.
