Great Balls!! 5/15/2009
Handicap 30 +
I've used practice balls before but they usually become indented and worn out after only 1-2 practices. I bought these Almost Golf balls just to try them and see what they were about. I love them. I've been hitting them in my back yard for the past few weeks and I'm having a blast. I hit my house and the balls don't leave any marks and they are soft enough not to break any glass. I can get them up over the house and not have to worry about hitting something on the other side. My 5 year old daughter al

The best practice ball ever!!! 5/19/2007
Handicap 20-30
After practicing with these in my back yard for 1 month, I improved my scores by an average of 18 STROKES! That's right, 18! They are super fun and they don't balloon like foam balls. They go further than 0.35 cor for me. But I hit my house multiple times and it didn't leave a mark. These are fun to draw and fade. And, as a bonus, now I can practice hitting shots over my 3 story house! Buy 50 of these. You won't regret it. Great price, too.

Best practice ball 12/26/2006
Handicap 10 - 15
I used to use wiffle balls to practice in my back yard. Not any more. With these balls I can hit a full sand wedge in my 40x40 yd back yard. They respond just like a real ball. I would recommend this ball to anyone who can't get to a practice range all the time.

I hit these in doors during the winter with my college golf team (LMU) You can fade and draw them like a real ball. I think they have a COR of about .35 These ball beat wiffle balls hand down.

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in climate controled area the is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not becuase the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controlable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.

Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?
A

Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy
