"Melanie, The custom logo golf balls look really great. We have only passed out a few boxes, but we'll probably be donating lots more to a few upcoming charitable golf outings. We were so pleased with our experience and the pricing at Golfballs.com, I can't imagine we'd go anywhere else in the future. "

TELL ME AM I THINKING CORRECTLY??? THE LOWER THE COMPRESSION THE EASIER YOU HAVE TO HIT THE BALL TO MAKE IT GO FARTHER???? SO A LADIES BALL WOULD BE EASIER TO HIT FARTHER WITH A SLOWER HEAD SPEED????

Yes - you are correct. I am a man (with a "mans ego") and was told by a well known teachng pro years ago that many men would do much better with a ladies ball. I routinely drove the ball 200 - 225..........after swithching to a ladies ball I hit 225 - 250 (sometimes farther) and don't give a hoot what any of my playing partners say..........other than "wow"!

I'm 65 and swing around 87 mph and have been playing for about 4 years and still trying to break 100; which ball would be best for my game, my average drive is around 200-210 yds.

If you are looking for a great all around ball that should do well for you try the Bridgestone e6+ or the Srixon TriSpeed. Both are 3 piece balls with lower than 70 compression ratings designed to help you hit more fairways and add a few more yards.

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.
