"Melanie, The custom logo golf balls look really great. We have only passed out a few boxes, but we'll probably be donating lots more to a few upcoming charitable golf outings. We were so pleased with our experience and the pricing at Golfballs.com, I can't imagine we'd go anywhere else in the future. "

Maxfli Noodle - Golf Balls

Maxfli Noodle - Golf Balls

This item has been discontinued.
Product Description

You want a ball that delivers extra yardage, but you hate the harsh feel that "distance" balls generate. Not to mention the lack of spin. That's why Maxfli's research and development team was given the challenge to combine the contrary qualitites of long distance and soft feel in a single golf ball. It was called Project Noodle. Long story short, Maxfli R&D succeeded brilliantly, surrounding a high energy, low-compression core material with a soft-yet-durable Surlyn cover. The new ball combined long distance with the seemingly incompatible quality of soft feel. Long and soft-you know, like a noodle.

When they were made in USA they were a very responsive ball with good feel. Now they're nothing more then a foreign two-piece rock and lack the production quality of the past.

Better than I thought 5/30/2007

What a great ball!!! I ordered a dozen as a special through golfballs.com and said, "hey, I'll give these a shot." I've played the Pro V-1s and the NXT Tour for quite a while and this ball, I believe, is the better ball. It's softer around the greens, checks up rather well. Distance-wise, better. I'm sold on these balls; I just hope Maxfli keeps making them for years to come.

Why pay more? 4/3/2006

This is one of, if not the best ball out there. I have hit balls that went farther but were hard as hell to get them to stop on the greens. For the price maxfli get my money 9 out of ten times I buy balls. The other time well I just got to try the new stuff, can't help myself.

I have been playing for about 12 years, and have tried every major brand out there. I got a sleeve of the noodles for a gag gift, and well the gag is on my golf buddies. I cannot believe how much more control and distance I get from these. I keep the Rottini and Al-Dente's in my bag and swap them out during the course. It is awesome the feel and touch you get from these balls. I have brought 3 friends over to the noodle. One of my close friends added 9 yards on average to his drives and now they are STRAIGHT with the original noodle. This year he is switching to the al-dente for more control. You can pay alot more for other balls, but why?!?

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.

A golf ball takes between 100 and 1000 years to decompose. If a golf ball is not old and battered through play, it will be fine!!! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/earthnews/6540852/Golf-balls-take-1000-years-to-decompose.html

Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?
A
05/04/2009 3:09 PMGolfballs.com Employee: Andy
Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy

Golf balls stored in a controlled climate, (not outside in the elements, not stored in a 100 degree temperature,)will lose ONE YARD per year. That means, obviously, if you store your golf balls for ten years they will lose only ten yards of carry. Most of us could never tell the difference until it reaches that ten year mark.
