the best basic info you will ever need
11/15/2012
i have used this all year and also have a skycaddie SG3, which i had for several years and have not used it since purchasing the NEO+. one of the things that used to frustrate me was not being able to get 9 hole courses on Skycaddie. Well i do on Neo, which is great not to mention being able to play 5 rounds with still power left and most of all no extra fees. Totally accurate and for most of us the extra features on other devices are just bells and whistles. i want to know how far to hit and it doesn't get better than the NEO+. simple turn it on, finds course and your really never have to press a button again except to turn it off.

I used a SG2 Skycaddie for 5-6 years and the annual membership fee made me consider other options, especially when other skycaddies purchased after that by my friends, had quit on them. I have used the Bushnell Neo+ for over a month now and it works great! At first I thought it was not quite as accurate as the Skycaddie but it has the ability to edit a hole that is not accurate which is a great feature that I never knew existed when I bought the Neo+. The battery lasts for 5-6 games which is a real plus compared to what I was used to. I'd highly recommend this golf GPS to anyone considering a basic model. It does everything you need very well.

How do I know if the courses I play regularly are loaded into the unit? How do ypu use it? Does it attach to the cart or your belt or what?
David Fraser

It has over 16,000 courses in North America loaded into it so unless you are playing a very new course or a small unknown course that beginners might play, the course will be there. Besides, there is the ability to load a course into the unit or edit a course/hole.
