This handmade and individually-numbered journal is 4.50 x 7.25 inches with a vertical orientation, a replica of the one seen in the movie, 7 Days in Utopia - Robert Duval's character hands it down to Lucas Black from his horse. Each journal contains a handwritten message and signature from Dr. David Cook, author of 7 Days in Utopia. It is covered in a black, pebbled textured, distressed, soft, latigo, cow skin. In between the leather and the body of the paper is a decorative fly leaf made from banana husks.
Filled with 100% cotton rag, archival, off-white, thick, handmade paper, five signatures with approximately 100 pages. Features a matching black deer skin strap closure. Good for painting, drawing or writing. Keep your scores, a record of the weather, your golf mates phone numbers, and your thoughts on the days game. Handmade by Florida artist Allison LeBaron and also used in David Cook’s seminars.

I have never finished a book in my life. My golf pro suggested I read this book and said it would help me. I did not know this book would have such an affect on my view of life considering I thought it was about golf. I am going to plan a trip to the Links of Utopia this summer and bury my lies in life. I strongly suggest anyone who is confused about there purpose in life to read this book. I will never look at things the same after reading this book.

So real to my current life
For whatever reason I have spent this last weeks neck high in watching first of all, The Grace Care, then The Way, and now at the end Seven Days in Utopia and all I can say is WOW. I have been on a spiritual journey and inner struggles these last few months and from the above movies and my Pastors sermons I can hear the voice of God loud and clear. Looking back I can see clearly the hand of God making and clearing each pathway for me to enter and walk in. He had a plan for me and I plan to follow that plan. Thank you for such an inspirational, encouraging, and true to life movie that should speak to all who watch it. God bless you.

Finding a Jonny after 12years of searching
I am single for the past 12years and brought up 3 girls with lots of struggle. I was searching for a Johnnny my hole life, even as from a child with no success. Everybody gives the scrptures, but nobody can add the practical way of using the scripture. Thank you Johnny! Getting hold of this usefull book was a mirricle itself. I believe that only God led me to the shelf where I have picked the book. I also had the oppertunity in start playing golf as from August 2010. What a great game! But now, as for the game and in MY LIFE as a very stressed lady, I will be able to SEE,FEEL,TRUST as from today. I thank you in the biggest happy tears I ever had! Regards Fransie Nortje

The Real Journey
I picked this movie by pure chance. Having a very limited love of the game of golf. Time has not allowed me to play as often as I like and of course my score has paid the price. The most important part of this movie is not the improvement of his game or even if he makes the putt but the journey he takes to find his game and ultimately his salvation. Win or lose, a life saved by the story in the book or the movie is the ultimate victory. I am sure the leather journal to help make notes about the information you find on your way to your spiritual growth would be a great way to record important scripture and life choices. I would recommend this story to anyone and hope they find the same reward. Many thanks to the author and producers for giving us a movie worth watching with your family.
