The Cleveland Golf CG15 Satin Chrome Wedges offers an improved laser milled face which gives you more precise and consistent surface roughness which maximizes spin. The new milling technology creates 25% bigger grooves which produce exceptional spin as well. The wider sole width near the heel and the narrow sole width near the toe allow for maximum forgiveness and confidence in a traditional-looking wedge. The sole also improves bunker performance without having to sacrifice versatility. The CG15 wedges allow for golfers of all playing abilities to be able to control spin and distance with a conventional-looking wedge.

Cleveland has yet again manufactured a great wedge with the CG15. Although they were forced to change the grooves, the laser milled face helped to maintain the amount of controlled spin. Overall, it is a great feeling wedge and continues the amazing success that Cleveland has aquired with its wedges.

I recently purchased the CG15 crome wedge and my friend purchased the black pearl wedge. After 1 range session which consisted of hitting less that 10 balls and chipping roughly 10, the faces showed significent signs of use. I don't know if it is because the face is so soft, but there were noticible and fairly deep scratches in the face. On my friends black pearl wedge the black paint had completely worn off in some spots to show the light colored metal underneath. I thought the wedges performed well, b

Hi, thanks for the question. Bounce refers to the angle of the sole of the club to the ground. High bounce wedges would be better for thick rough or fluffy sand. Lower bounce would be best for fairway shots and tight lies. -Parker

I am trying to put three wedges in my bag. I am leaning towards a 52 degree, 56 degree, and a 60 degree lob wedge.

The question you need answered is how your irons are lofted in order to fill the proper gaps in your wedge game. Typically you will want a 4 to 5 degree gap between irons and that includes wedges. If your iron set is strong lofted - say your PW is 45 degree - you may need a 50, 54, 58 wedge set.

Craig, the lofts needed to fill your gaps will differ according to the loft of your irons. A stronger set of irons will need stronger wedges. For example: if your PW is 45 degree you will want your gap wedge near 50 degree with a sand at 54 and the lob at 58. You will always want your gap and lob wedges to have lower bounce while your sand wedge has higher bounce. The lower bounce is better for "harder" surfaces ie compact sand while the higher bounce is great for "softer" lies ie fluffy white s

My PW (Callaway X20) is 45 degrees, which makes it a 10 Iron in my opinion, not a wedge. Some sets (e.g. popular Wilson Di7) have a 43 degrees PW! I debated a 50 or 52 degree Approach and am very glad I went with 50. 56 for Sand and 60 for Lob. Longer hitting pros might go 52/58/62. Mickelson carries 60 and 64! I can do just about anything inside 60 yds with my 60.04 - very happy I went with the low bounce Lob rather than an even flatter loft.

Most PW are 47 & can be bent a degree weaker. If you mean 4 wedge I'd say 47,51,55,60 or 48,52,56,60

The standard loft on a sand wedge is either 55 or 56 Degree. It varies between those two lofts depending on the brand you prefer.

54 to 56 degrees with 10 to 14 degrees of bounce. Cally's C grind is great, find the right loft and bounce combo.
