Introducing five new models to the PLD Milled family, a collection of tour-validated designs, each with a history of winning championships. The five new models are the Anser, Anser 2D, DS72, Oslo 3 and Ally Blue 4. 

Like other PLD Milled models, the putters undergo a comprehensive milling process that ensures every surface and radius is carefully shaped to achieve the high quality and premium look expected in a precision-milled putter. 

In addition to score-lowering performance, these models are distinguished by an attractive gunmetal finish. The face milling pattern on all five designs relies on tour-preferred deep AMP grooves to produce a soft feel for precision and control.

2024 PLD Milled Plus Putters

Firmer Feel, Pleasing Sound
A firmer feel and sound is the result of the machined, flat face. The face material – aluminum (black) or steel (copper) – varies by model, depending on placement of the materials, which is positioned to maximize forgiveness and optimize the center of gravity. Extensive testing revealed the auditory feedback of the flat metal face helped the player’s confidence by providing a distinct impact experience without compromising performance.
Multi-Material Designs
PING engineers combined a lightweight aluminum with steel through strategic shaping and weight placement to produce extremely high MOI designs. The process of pressure-casting aluminum creates precise detail and exceptional quality in the mid-mallets and mallets. The new Tomcat 14 has the highest MOI in the line and features a 14-dot alignment aid inspired by the lights on an airport runway.
Stiffer Adjustable-Length Shaft
Advancements to our adjustable-length shaft technology produce a firmer feel with less flexing. Finished in eye-catching black chrome, the adjustable shaft is lightweight and sleekly concealed beneath the grip, allowing you to customize between 32" and 36". An adjustment tool inserts into the top of the grip. One full turn causes approximately a ¼" adjustment up or down, and the grip remains aligned during adjustment.

PLD Milled Putters

Four distinct G Le3 putters are offered in a variety of shapes, materials and alignment cues to fit every golfer’s eye and stroke type (straight, slight arc and strong arc). Each model is engineered with a white, two-piece Pebax elastomer insert consisting of a soft front with PLD-inspired shallow grooves and a firmer back to ensure the optimal combination of feel and distance control. They are paired with a PING Pistol PP59 Deep Sea grip that offers superior feel and a premium look in distinctive G Le3 colors.

The winningest putter in history is updated using tungsten toe-heel weights to provide stability and forgiveness, and the shallow milled face delivers a firmer feel and consistent ball speed with pleasing acoustics. Employs color blocking where the platinum topline contrasts with the black cavity, drawing focus to the front of the putter for improved aiming. 

Anser 2D 
A PEBAX insert with shallow milled surround ensures a softer feel and consistent ball speed with pleasing acoustics. Tungsten toe-heel weights provide stability and forgiveness, a single white alignment line contrasts with the all-black head, and a ball-width cavity floor help frame the ball to make aligning to the target easier. 

Kushin 4 
Tungsten toe and heel weights provide stability and forgiveness for improved accuracy, and the shallow milled face ensures a firmer feel and consistent ball speed with pleasing acoustics. A platinum topline contrasts against a black cavity to draw the focus forward, where a short alignment line and ball-width cavity floor frame the ball. Fits a strong-arc stroke type. 

Shea

Forgiveness is high in the mid-mallets, aided by tungsten toe-heel weights to ensure stability, while the shallow milled face delivers a firmer feel and consistent ball speed with pleasing acoustics. A platinum topline contrasted against a black cavity with its longer alignment line to draw the focus forward, and the ball-width cavity floor helps frame the ball. 

DS72 

Fit for straight and slight-arc stroke types, the DS72 has a shallow milled face to deliver a firmer feel and consistent ball speed with pleasing acoustics. A platinum topline contrasts against the black cavity where a white alignment line and ball-width cavity floor focus the eye. The more squared off will be aesthetically pleasing to the mid-mallet player. 

DS72 C 

The center-shafted head offers a visual symmetry, and tungsten toe-heel weights ensure stability for improved accuracy. The shallow milled face provides a firmer feel and consistent ball speed with pleasing acoustics. The color-blocked head features a platinum topline contrasting against the black cavity with its white alignment line to draw the focus forward.

Tyne G 

A trio of white lines, ball-width cavity floor and ball-pickup cutout feature distinguish the easy-to-aim Tyne G. The cutout removes mass that transfers to the perimeter for added stability and forgiveness to improve accuracy. A PEBAX insert with shallow milled surround ensures a softer feel and consistent ball speed with pleasing acoustics.

Prime Tyne 4 

A top performer evolves for 2023, featuring the customary twin forks that make the head highly stable to ensure forgiveness and accuracy. The shallow milled face delivers a firmer feel, consistent ball speed and pleasing acoustics. New color blocking utilizes a platinum topline contrasted against the black cavity to draw the focus forward. 

Mundy

Forgiveness is driven way up by joining a lighter aluminum body to a 304 stainless steel sole plate for positioning the CG low/back. A PEBAX insert with a smooth milled surround delivers a softer feel and consistent ball speed with pleasing acoustics. Three full-length, ball-width alignment lines draw the eye to the point of contact with the ball, simplifying aiming. 

Tomcat 14 

Multi-material construction creates extreme MOI in the Tomcat 14, built with a lighter aluminum body joined to a 304 stainless steel sole plate for positioning the CG low/back for forgiveness. Ball-width runway-style dotted lines track all the way to the ball to aid in alignment. The smooth milled face delivers the firmest feel of the newest PING putters, and slightly faster ball speed.

The new PING putters all have one thing in common – precision performance on putts of every distance. Everything else is different. From firmer milled faces to soft feeling inserts, simple alignment aids to eye-pleasing color blocking, high MOI blades to multi-material mallets, each model is individually designed to achieve the proper balance of feel and forgiveness in a confidence-inspiring look that leads to more consistency on the greens. 2023 Putter

<h3>The Bergen</h3>The PING Vault Bergen mallet putter utilizes a raised crown alignment aid the same width as a golf ball, which is similar to that of previous award-winning models. Other features include a 365-gram head, 35-inch standard length shaft that can be adjusted, and a lie angle range of 2-degrees either way.<h3>The Oslo</h3>Simpler than the other mallet in this line, the Oslo has a smaller footprint and a lower-level sightline. It incorporates a 365-gram head, 35-inch standard length shaft that can be shortened or lengthened, and a lie angle range of 2-degrees either way.<h3>Smooth Roll and Stability</h3>The body of the mallet is carefully milled from 6061 T-6 aluminum under the supervision of skilled craftsmen to ensure the highest quality results. Each model possesses a performance-driven True-Roll face that uses varying depths to improve ball speed on mishits. Stainless steel weighting along the bottom raises MOI and lowers center of gravity for better stability through the shot, while a double-bend shaft can alter to work with either slight arc or straight stroke styles.<h3>Pistol 62 Grip</h3>Each model features a 68-gram PING Pistol 62 grip, which has a contoured pistol shape that feels natural in the hand, molding to palm and fingertips for a more even grip.
