Manufacturer Description
Low-toe weighting and a large-cavity design create a high moment of inertia that makes the Ping G10 XG Iron consistently long and accurate. The large, stainless-steel clubhead features new, conforming grooves and a wide sole to ensure a high launch angle with no added spin for a more-controlled ball flight. A wide sole and deep cavity design drive the center of gravity back to increase trajectory, especially on shots below the center of the face. The sole contours also prevent digging.

What's the difference between the G10 XG irons and the regular G10 irons?

The XG irons have the modified groove which are legal in USGA tournament play. The original G10 iron set is not conforming because of the grooves.
