TaylorMade RocketBallz Tour Rescue Hybrid Overview
TaylorMade Golf is proud to unveil the most innovative and longest high performance Tour Rescue Hybrid they've ever created. The new RocketBallz Tour Rescue Hybrid is a byproduct of extensive research and development to uncover breakthrough performance, most specifically increased ball speed.
RocketBallz Technology
The name RocketBallz is a special part of the product story, an engineering dream first realized in a prototype Rescue clubhead. In search of the first significant Tour Rescue Hybrid innovation as it relates to COR and ball speed since steel construction was introduced in the 1980's, TaylorMade discovered and developed advancements that collectively produced RocketBallz technology.
Major challenges had to be overcome in developing the unique RocketBallz technology. Once of those challenges was including the need to create a durable yet flexible face/sole structure that contained a deep sole pocket. Additionally, a deeper face design and low center of gravity (CG) was need to maintain excellent playability off turf. The RocketBallz Tour Rescue Hybrid was developed with a high-strength 455 steel face place that is welded to a cast body. Improved sold geometry and a 'Speed Pocket' was incorporated to improve overall face and head flexibility. A slightly deeper face with a further-forward center of gravity location was also produced.
White Crown and Black PVD Clubface Promote Easy Alignment
The RocketBallz Tour Rescue Hybrids feature a flat white crown color and black PVD clubface that provides optimum contrast. This makes it easier to align the face accurately at address. The white crown color also eliminates the "hot spots" and glare that are often a common issue with gloss-finish metalwoods.
RocketBallz Tour Rescue Hybrids Promote Up to 17 Additional Yards
RocketBallz Tour Rescue Hybrids combine RocketBallz technology with increased face size, advanced playability features, low center of gravity and a lightweight shaft and grip. When these elements are combined, you get a remarkable increase in distance - up to 17 more yards over comparable steel Tour Rescue Hybrids. RocketBallz rescue heads are shaped more traditionally, yet are still extremely forgiving. The center of gravity is lowered and pulled forward to promote a lower spin-rate and higher launch angle. This creates launch conditions that promote greater distance.
Tour Features
The RocketBallz Tour Rescue has a comparatively smaller address appearance, a toe-weighted center of gravity, a slightly open face angle and features a heavier, stiffer, tour-grade shaft.
Shaft Options
The standard Tour Rescue Hybrid features an 85-gram graphite shaft available in three flexes and three lofts. If you are looking for different shaft options, the standard
RocketBallz Rescue Hybrid is also available, which features a 65-gram graphite shaft in four flexes and four lofts.
Why the RocketBallz Tour Rescue Hybrid?
