It features a reduced sole area for less turf resistance at impact - in fact, the R11 Fairway Wood's contact area is 35% less than the R9 wood.

With eight different Flight Control Technology (FCT) positions, you can increase or decrease the launch angle in .5 increments, while also changing the spin rate. With the Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP), you can adjust the face angle to be open, closed or neutral. This will independently tune the face angle without affecting the loft.
