Manufacturer Description
Replacing hard-to-hit long irons with forgiving, high-launching hybrids allows golfers of all abilities to improve their shot-making by blending the distance of a fairway wood with the control of an iron. A golfer can integrate up to four of the new G5 Hybrids into their current set makeup, improving distance, accuracy and scoring potential from long distances.
- 455 steel face is machined and robotically plasma welded to provide distance and consistency

Great Question.
The answer is both! They go hand in hand together. That's why so many companies taught High Launch clubs or balls. More carry, etc.....More height should translate into more distance.
