Nike Ignite T60 Fairway Woods

The Ignite T60 calls upon a massive tungsten plug in the sole of the club and a responsive Custom 455 Stainless Steel clubface to maximize performance. These features make it easy for golfers at every level to hit high, long and accurate shots. The new design allows for optimum weight to be inserted low in the clubhead to offer superb lift and shot trajectory. The 60-gram tungsten plug creates a CG (Center of Gravity) position that is both low and deep. Two-thirds of the clubhead weight is below the equator of the ball; this facilitates getting the ball airborne. By moving the CG deeper into the clubhead, the club is easier to square at impact to improve accuracy. The clubface is crafted from Custom 455 Stainless Steel, a material that is thinner, stronger and faster than the more commonly used 17-4 Stainless Steel. This is the same material used in the clubface of Nike’s award-winning Slingshot irons. An eleven gram increase in perimeter weighting is achieve by using Custom 455 in the clubface, this results in a higher launching, more stable clubhead.
