Technical Data

Swing Speed
Swing speed is a measure of velocity, in miles per hour, of how fast the club head of a golf club is traveling at the point it makes impact with the golf ball. Swing speed can be recorded by a launch monitor or other electronic radar devices.

Feel (Compression)
Feel is a term that considers the firmness or compression of the golf ball. Typically the softer the golf ball feels, the lower the compression rating. A general rule of thumb about golf ball compression is that players with a lower swing speed should use a lower compression ball to take advantage of the added spring affect.

9 Iron Spin
9 iron spin is regarding the backward rotation of the golf ball in flight or the measured rate of that rotation. Most golfers think of backspin more in relation to shorter irons and wedges. Backspin is what causes some wedge shots to "back up" on the green, or roll backwards after hitting the green.

I have bought these before as hand outs at golf outings. Its a cheap way to get your name out and top flite is a name people have heard of at least. I realize they arent designed for the pro golfer but golf scrambles are for fun not serious golfers

Great balls for little cash!

When I review balls I base the review on the price and what the ball is meant for. These balls are just basic balls for the average golfer. They play well and I used only two in a round, both balls were a little worn but were still usable, and for something that's so cheap, that's good. I get decent distance with these, not as much as with a Callaway or Titleist, but when you spend under $12 a dozen, a few yards may be sacrificed. Again, these balls are great for the money.

The Top-Flite XL's play well for me. I wanted to say kudo's for the printing, though. Very nicely done. I will definately be ordering again.
