Finally got through last year's supply of golf balls (scattered to the woods and waters of Maine) and got to try the latest version of the Pro V1. The most remarkable improvement is its stability in the wind. Last week I played in very blustery conditions (wind gusts to approx. 30 mph). The ball was unbelieveably stable in crosswinds! I consistently overcompensated for the effect of cross breezes on the front nine, and ended up essentially in the area at which I had aimed. On the back nine I ignored any crosswinds and aimed directly at my target. The Pro V1 stayed on course. Amazing!
