Feel (Compression)
Feel is a term that considers the firmness or compression of the golf ball. Typically the softer the golf ball feels, the lower the compression rating. A general rule of thumb about golf ball compression is that players with a lower swing speed should use a lower compression ball to take advantage of the added spring affect.

9 Iron Spin
9 iron spin is regarding the backward rotation of the golf ball in flight or the measured rate of that rotation. Most golfers think of backspin more in relation to shorter irons and wedges. Backspin is what causes some wedge shots to "back up" on the green, or roll backwards after hitting the green.

Straight and True, Holds the Green
5/3/2011
Played the back nine at my local muni last week, and with no one coming up behind me, played two balls from each tee - one new (old stock) Hogan and a Titleist NXT Tour I had found the weekend before. The "Tour" moniker had always scared me off, but I found that this ball has great feel off the tee, great distance (240, which is good for me), and great green-holding. When a fast-playing twosome came up behind me, I picked up the Hogan (sorry, Ben... ) and continued with just the Titleist. I figure it's time to put a couple of sleeves of these in my bag...

I play the NXT Tour ball and it is all any one could want from a ball. I though I had to play a soft ball to be able to hit it far well that is not true the NXT Tour is just every thing you need Thank You

Frequently asked questions about

I bought two three ball sleeves of this ball to try it out but where i bought the first sleeve they only had one. The second sleeve i bought about 3 days after. Today I was packing for saturday golf and notices one sleeve was blue (like the one displayed here) but the other one was black. Also one of the sleeves balls have a dot after the NXT Tour line and the other sleeves balls dont. Is there any differencebetween the balls?

It appears that you have a 2009 NXT Tour golf balls and a 2010-2011 NXT Tour golf ball. The one that is in the blue package is the 2010-2011 NXT Tour and the black sleeve is the 2009. There is really no difference in the golf ball performance wise. The main thing that changed between these golf balls are the newer packaging.

Yes. That is their typical way to show the "Release" year. Thanks.

Name some golf balls that are 90 wound? Those are the balls best suited for my lower swing speed.
