Technical Data

Swing Speed
Swing speed is a measure of velocity, in miles per hour, of how fast the club head of a golf club is traveling at the point it makes impact with the golf ball. Swing speed can be recorded by a launch monitor or other electronic radar devices.

Handicap
Balls designed for higher handicap golfers generally have harder covers that result in lower spin rates with irons and drivers. Balls designed for low handicap golfers tend to offer your more control and spin.

Feel (Compression)
Feel is a term that considers the firmness or compression of the golf ball. Typically the softer the golf ball feels, the lower the compression rating. A general rule of thumb about golf ball compression is that players with a lower swing speed should use a lower compression ball to take advantage of the added spring affect.

9 Iron Spin
9 iron spin is regarding the backward rotation of the golf ball in flight or the measured rate of that rotation. Most golfers think of backspin more in relation to shorter irons and wedges. Backspin is what causes some wedge shots to "back up" on the green, or roll backwards after hitting the green.

Great Ball
9/11/2009
This ball is straight and long off the drive. Can stop it on the green and is Fairly soft for putting. Only downside is price. Unfortunatley I think this is the best ball sub $30.

Received a few dozen as gift and thought I give them a try. Weather conditions were low 60s and slight foggy, heavy air. This ball flys straight and long. Around the green and putting is a little clicky, due to the cover. This ball is probably super long in the summer time. Recommended for high index players looking for distance.

Frequently asked questions about

what do you consider to be the lowest spin ball for 10 handicapper coming off back problems looking to nuetralize the over the top spin that occurs when the old back stiffens up ??

The Titleist NXT is a good ball for low spin. You may also like the Bridgestone e6, the Srixon TriSpeed, and the Callaway HX Hot+ as well. The Srixon and Bridgestone are lower compression balls so you should notice a softer feel when trying those options.

Why would you sacrifice your distance by selecting a low spin ball ? A high spin ball provides lift and therefore the distance like the Titliest ProV1 and ProV1x. Low spin gives you a straighter flight.

Does the personalized golf balls have the brand name on them as well? Does it just have the personlized message? Is there an option to get the brand on the other side of the ball?

Personalized balls have the brand on them also unless you order our Blank golf balls. Thanks.
