Good ball...wedges will chew them like any other 3 piece
9/7/2009
I was satisfied with these balls however I cannot say they are better or worse than Pro V1x or Srixon Zstar...I hit one brand new ball twice...56 degree wedge followed by 48 degree and it had chew marks on it. For 55 bucks for 2 dozen, they are worth trying. So many good balls out there, this is another one but cheaper...for now until they get market share...then look for a price increase.

No doubt the best all around golf balls you can buy!! Spin less than the ProVs normally but if you dig at them you can put good zip on it!!! Very durable balls, without any cartpath interference you can plays these for at least 27 holes. In the wind these are easily twice as good as any other ball on the market! Even if you buy them just for wind you'll get your money's worth!!

Best I have hit

This ball is truly the best ball I have played. Played Pro-V1, BStone E6, and TaylorMade TP Black last year. I wasnt that crazy with the Black, couldn't seem to hit it where I needed it. I spin the ball a lot and the Pro-V1's just come back either off the green or 6-9 ft. back. This ball (TP Red) just gives me a one hop and stop on almost every shot at the green from chip, pitch, to full iron/wedge shots. Now for two dozen balls for this price!!! Read this carefully, YOU CANNOT GO WRONG, BUY THEM NOW.

Pleasantly surprised...

I've played more than a few multi-layer balls in my time but this ball is great off the tee, rolls true on the greens and still has the soft feel to thew cover. I was playing the Nike One Tour and decided to try a sleeve of these. I knew TaylorMade for drivers but not for golf balls. Since hitting these balls, my GIR has gone up and playing in the wind doesn't affect pushes or pulls as much. All in all, put your skepticism aside and try them. You'll put them in your bag from then on...

Frequently asked questions about

Recently I was advised that the TP red was a better fit for my swing(avg 110mph and high flight). What is the main difference between the TP Black and Red?

The TP Black is a higher spinning golf ball which for higher club head speeds will spin exessively causing shorter carry. The TP Red is a higher compression and is desinged for lower spin off the driver to accomodate high club head speeds such as your own.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.

Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?

Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy
