Manufacturer Description

Srixon Golf Z-UR - The Srixon Z UR golf ball features all the power of Srixon technology harnessed into our longest, most playable tour performance ball yet. It features an incredible membrane-thin urethane elastomer cover, which surrounds the largest, fastest energetic gradient growth core we’ve ever developed. Srixon Golf's proprietary compound called bis (pentabromophenyl) disulfide or PBDS added to the core delivers amazing resilience and initial ball velocity with low spin. The Z-UR's 330 dimple pattern combines high trajectory with a penetrating ball flight for stability in all cross winds and head winds. The soft and shear-resistant polyurethane cover means the Z-UR lands gently, and stops where it lands.

  • Soft and durable urethane-elastomer cover provides pinpoint control and great feel with approach shots
  • Newly developed 330 dimple pattern provides high trajectory with strong penetrating ball flight
  • An incredibly thin cover surrounding a very large core enhanced with PBDS for greater resilience and initial velocity
  • A New Benchmark in Urethane Performance Technology

Exellent ball. Long off the driver with a firm enough feeling to launch powerfully but soft enough off the irons and spins well around the green. I have played the Nike One Platinum and Pro V1 but honestly feel this ball is a better mix of feel and distance. Cover is thin but very durable.

This ball is great. I was very pleased with every aspect of this ball. Stopped well. Was long and durability was very good. Worth the money. If Srixon sold this ball for 34.95 it wouldn't stay on the shelf.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.

Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?

Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy

Excellent question. Nowadays so many balls aren't classified as having a "urethane" cover but more now classified under their own brand name cover. But please be sure and review ball descriptions as many of them do have the cover named in the description. Thanks, Johnny
