Technical Data

Swing Speed
Swing speed is a measure of velocity, in miles per hour, of how fast the club head of a golf club is traveling at the point it makes impact with the golf ball. Swing speed can be recorded by a launch monitor or other electronic radar devices.

Feel (Compression)
Feel is a term that considers the firmness or compression of the golf ball. Typically the softer the golf ball feels, the lower the compression rating. A general rule of thumb about golf ball compression is that players with a lower swing speed should use a lower compression ball to take advantage of the added spring affect.

9 Iron Spin
9 iron spin is regarding the backward rotation of the golf ball in flight or the measured rate of that rotation. Most golfers think of backspin more in relation to shorter irons and wedges. Backspin is what causes some wedge shots to "back up" on the green, or roll backwards after hitting the green.

Product Description

The Precept Lady IQ Plus golf ball improves upon the Lady IQ 180 ball in several ways, such as offering a lower core compression and a seamless 330 dimple design. This allows your ball to stay in the air longer, adding to your carry and total yardage. With a 5% softer cover than the 180, it is the softest lady’s ball on the market. The Precept Lady IQ Plus is developed to add distance for lower swing speeds while still giving you the feel you need around the greens. It boasts an even softer core than its predecessor (Lady iQ 180) and continues to utilize Bridgestone’s patented Gradational Compression Technology. This technology produces greater ball deformation at impact which results in increased distance with all clubs. In addition, Precept’s softest core ever continues to reduce excessive sidespin for straighter, more accurate ball-flight, while the new 5% softer cover provides better greenside control than any other Precept Lady golf ball in history.

  • Two Piece Construction
  • Softer touch with added control around the green
  • Higher Trajectory = More Carry and Distance
  • Seamless Cover Technology

Frequently asked questions about

I loved the old Precept ball lady IQ. Then august 1st came out the new version of it. It has a Pearl white cover. I feel I have lost some distance off the tee with the new ball? Am I imagining it or maybe off that night? I usually hit my Driver always over 200 yards. I did like it around the greens. Please let me know now it's in my head and I am thinking about changing balls back to the Diablo. Thanks Tracy

Tracy, we haven't heard of any distance loss. Wait for the new release of the Lady iQ+ next week. We'll have them online then. I'd try those also. Thanks.

I'm a senior and my senior buddies have heard the low compression/ girly ball/ swing speed debate for a while. So, I got a box of Precept Lady S III and we were amazed at the results. Awesome length compared to other balls. Now can't find the Lady S IIIs. Still being manufactured? is comparable to IQ??? Help !!!

The Precept Lady S golf balls are discontinued.. However if you like the results you were getting from the Lady S I would reccommend the Precept Laddie X golf balls.

My wife has a slow swing speed and is interested in the Precept IQ Plus and Noodle Long & Soft golf balls. How do they compare? What are their respective compressions? Thanks!

While neither Precept nor Taylor Made share compression numbers I believe that she would find the Precept to be a bit softer and most likely a lower compression ball. Thanks.
