The Nike One Vapor Speed Golf Ball is optimized for amateur players who desire longer distance off the tee. 3-piece ionomer blend, reformulated core and optimized aerodynamics increase the Nike Vapor ball speed and maximize distance off the tee. The Nike Vapor compression rating is 61 and it's designed for the skilled amateur player with a swing speed between 85 and 100 mph. According to Nike, the combination of the new optimized aerodynamics of the 336 dimple cover and the inner “power transfer” layer results in greater velocity, distance and control with clubs through-out the bag.

Peels like an onion
This ball is good off the tee, but it peels like an onion if the swing speed on your irons is over 80 mph.

Great Golf Ball
I have been playing golf for over 40 years, used every hot ball that has come out. Been a pro v-1 user for past few years. I decided to use the Nike Vapor Speed after reading the Golf Digest article on ball selection a few months ago. What a great surprise....I hit it farther, it held the greens well, and it shows very little wear. Half the price too!
