Manufacturer Description
With the Callaway HX Diablo golf ball, long just got a whole lot longer. A thin Ionomer cover promotes the lowest driver spin in our lineup so players of all abilities gain better distance and accuracy from their drives. The Callaway HX Diablo’s proprietary core formulation increases ball speed for better distance while maintaining the soft feel off the clubface that most golfers prefer. HEX Aerodynamics also replaces conventional dimples to reduce drag and produce a more penetrating ball flight in various weather conditions. HX Diablo incorporates everything a golfer could want in a 2-piece ball.
- Thin Ionomer cover promotes the lowest driver spin
- HEX Aerodynamics reduces drag for a more penetrating ball flight

I was using Precept until my local pro turned me on to the HX Diablo. With a leg amputation I have a slow club head speed and felt I needed a soft low compresion ball. After switching I found an extra 10 yards with my irons and a good 15+ with my driver and woods. At age 61 I was realy surprised when I shot my best two scores and lowered my handicap by 5 strokes.

I love these balls. I have never hit a ball in this price range that is so effective at reducing side spin and adding distance. My first round out with these balls I shot my personal best at my favorite course, and I haven't looked back since. My drives are much more manageable, and I can stick the greens. Admittedly, the "stick" isn't as good as the higher priced balls, but it is sufficient.

For most items the pricing is no different than Walmart

Was looking for a golf ball that would be a good combo ball, distance and feel. I think I've found my ball. Played with the Callaway HX Diablo balls today and shot my best round in a few years..The ball was springing off the clubhead rather well. My good hits were really sailing. My short irons, I was able to hit to a spot and the ball would s*** back a few feet. Nice feeling ball. Coming from someone who was playing Titleist Pro v's, I think I've found a replacement ball at a fraction of the price. Rock on.

I have used just about every New ball on the market and while there are better ones out these are my #1 choice in its price range.Great distance and while not the best ball for wedge play they bite the greens better than any ball in this price range.A must try for the mid-high handi caps that are looking for low driver spin ball and adding 10 yards on those well hit drives.

No, the HX Diablo replaced the Big Bertha Diablo. The HX Diablo Tour replaced the HX Hot Plus. Thanks.

What is the compression of this hx diablo ball? Is it the same as the big Bertha diablo ball that came out 2 years ago?

It's most likely pretty close but Callaway hasn't released that information. Thanks.
