Bang for the Buck!
I have been playing Srixon Z-star and Bridgestone B330-S for a while now. I love these two balls, but wanted to try something different for playing around a the par three course that I am a member of. For fifteen bucks, how could you go wrong and it was worth a try. I played the Top-Flite Gamer and the D2 Feel a couple years ago for my cheap balls to bang around. I thought I would give these a try since Wilson has done pretty decent over the past couple of years on the Staff balls.
I did not hit these balls off the driver or long iron, but I played them from 60 degree wedge through 8 iron. I was thoroughly IMPRESSED with this ball. This ball plays very soft and feels nice off the club face. No it is not a Pro-V1, B330, Srixon, or any other $30-50/Dozen ball, but it plays very well. I believe this ball is better than the Gamer, feels softer, and has more bite on and around the green.
Gap wedge shots from 105-110 yards this ball hit and hopped about 10 inches and stopped. It did not back up, but it did not roll out either. I was pretty impressed by this for a very cheap two piece ball.
$15.00 for 15 balls is as good a deal that you can get. If you are looking for a nice cheap ball I highly recommend these balls.
